2 more days and this monthis half over. Can you believe it? Life happens and some of us have things to accomplish during this hoilday season, planning parties and getting ready to bring down the decorations. Creativity isn't in the major box of " things to do" before the day is over. I've been around, silently, looking at this November month and it clear in that aspect

I realized I wore myself out too soon on my Oct. story and never finsih at that. I kept what was and hope to get back to it when I need a good scare.

This is my November 15-30th month: Now it going to be a back and forth story about her past with her husband including the on going present of her daughter.

She was getting used to the feel of her new identity.
She just hoped she could leave the slow burning sure to catch up with her past behind.
Kristen walked through her new bungalow with at timid pace, always expecting him to be just around a corner. She doubted she could ever shake her past.
If only she'd known then what she knew now, but then again, hindsight is always crystal clear in 20/20 vision.
The rose colored glasses had long been cracked and broken. But not soon enough.
The cry from the back bedroom caught her attention and instinctively she moved that direction.

"Jim,"
She turn to him, half expecting his full attention to be on the game, but her mannerisums, hadn't she know, caught his attention a long time ago.
"Yes?"
"I'm expecting," She had her hands instincitively around her 3 month rounded belly.
He got up and moved to her direction. She burst into tears as he held her closely.
"My love, I'm so happy." He held her face as he kissed her soft rose clored lip slips.
"So it wasn't the flu after all, Jim, We're having a baby!"
Jim pulled her close and and rocked her, his face barried in her neck.

"Momma, I'm sowy," the three year old wimpered. "I wanted to make a sandwitch for us."
"I see that," Kristen smiled as she bent down to pick up the broken glass of Peach jelly.
" I help, okay?"
"No, you will hurt yourself." She grabed the toddler's small hand and pulled her up before she could pick up the cracked jar.
I be back, okay?"
She came back with a lepared dust pan and a spotted broom trailing behind her.
"Here momma,"
"Thank you, sweet heart."
"I love you, momma," the little girl put her arms around her mother.

i know that a full 30-day commitment can be daunting and/or difficult, so how about these for alternatives...

1) write a piece of flash fiction, say 500 words, based on just ONE day's 3words?

2) commit to just 5 days and write the 100 a day, creating a 500 word flash?

3) commit to just 5 days but write 500 words each day, leaving you with a 2500 story?

although the historical way to play is 100 x 30, this isn't set in stone, please feel free to do what you want with the words and the idea. because the idea behind the idea is to enjoy and have fun, so if you can find a way to do that, please do.

stop by when you can, and write when you can. the words are here to help, not to hinder.

I find it helpful to have"helpers" in my favorites

yeah, absolutely no worries re the word count. some people deliberately went over in October, so i wouldn't be concerned.

that said, if you did want to stick to the 100 words, Sara had a linke to an online site that counted the words for you as you typed. think she posted it in the shoutbox, but it was too far back to be displayed now. hopefully she'll see this and re-post below.
